It's autumn. The weather is perfect: not too hot, not too cold. Next week we have a short break, so this is a good moment to organize a trip, long or short, it doesn't matter. What place do you think we should visit?
Irene: In autumn I strongly recommend you to visit the Valley of Jerte. The colours at this time of the year are amazingly beautiful, the coppers, ochres, reds and golds of the different trees; the streams, the waterfalls, the river, the light, the clouds on top of the mountains. The landscape is beautiful and the valley is just one hour's drive from Cáceres. You can stay in a hotel, in a rural house in one of the villages, in a farm or even in a shepherd hut. And you can also enjoy local food: traditional dishes prepared from very old recipes. Do you fancy going?
Les: What about going to Ireland? Its quite far away but it is very beautiful at this time of year. Glendalough is a scenic valley in the Wicklow Mountains. There are two very large lakes between two mountains and many old graves. There is a round tower and many old buildings from the time of Saint Kevin, who was a monk who lived there many years ago. You can climb the mountains, hire a boat, learn about the past in the museum or even just admire the landscape.

David Moreno Rodríguez: My favourit place is the natural park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido. I recommed you to visit it because it is very nice. The park is very big and there are a lot of ways to walk. There are lots and different trees and rivers. The park is in Huesca, Aragón and is visited for different people. Someone go to ski in winter and someone to walk in summer.

My favourite place in Cáceres is Perú sport centre.It's big and there you can have fun.It has got a football pitch,a basketball and tennis courts.There are also places to eat and to have a coffee.There is a park where children play with their friends.The Perú sport centre is located in the center of the town, next to Eroski shopping centre. The Sagrada Familia is a very big church, in Barcelona. I recommend this place because it's a very beautiful place. In it, you can see lot of columns. You can a make a guided tour in the church. In the guide visit, you go up to reach one of the towners wich is hight 70 meters.This is a place worth visiting. You have good views and you can see other places of Barcelona such as Tower of Agbar, Camp Nou, the Tower of Calatrava, Monjuic, the sea and the Avenida de Diagonal (This is the principal street of Barcelona).

One of the places that I like are the Barruecos of Malpartida de Cáceres, there is a lake surrounded by stone walls.When it rains there are stairs where the water that overflows falls and the sound is very relaxing.In spring it is beautiful.In spring the vegetation is varied and takes on different shades of colours.Their rocks are corious.It has a museum called Vostell where a German artist exhibits his work. He came to Malpartida because he fell in love with a girl from the village.

My favourite place is my village,in Sierra De Gata,it's name is Torre De Don Miguel.Is very small but relaxing,next to my village we have got a large forest and you can breathe fresh air.You can visit the natural pool but the water is very could.In winter it sometimes snow in the mountain.Also there is a beautiful river.
ResponderEliminarI recommend you to visit Montemayor Del Río in the valley of Ambroz. There is a river, called Cuerpo de Hombre, different flowers which blosson in autumn and beautiful scenery. There are very big mountains around the settlement and very long trails. In the centre of the village there is a restored castle that offers a guided tour around the castle and you can eat there.There's still a lot of to see and do.In this season there are mushrooms next to some trees.

ResponderEliminarI recommend that you visit San Sebastian because it's a beautiful city .It has beaches, museums, parks, etc. It is a very intresting city with bike lines throughout the city. It has a mountain called Igueldo with wonderful views of the beach of the sea and the city. It has several intresting festivals, for example the international film festival of San Sebastian, the jazz festival, etc. And it has an island called Santa Clara where you can go by boat. Around it there are also trails for walking.
